May 11 - Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations, KFU (Department of Turkic Philology) organizes the annual Day of Turkey. The framework of events dedicated to the culture of Turkey includes the concert featuring performances, dances and songs in Turkish.

Information:
In 2002 the Institute of Oriental Studies opened Turkic Department which in 2011 was renamed as the Department of Turkic Philology.
The Department cooperates with universities of Turkey, and regularly invites professors and scientists to meet with students and lecturers.
In April 2012 an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Yunus Emre University (Ankara, Turkey) and the Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations of KFU.
