April 7 – 11 was held Lomonosov  traditional international research conference for students, postgraduate students and young researchers in Moscow State University. It was held in the framework of Lomonosov – 2014 research youth forum. 

More than 6,000 students from Russia, Greece, Albany, China and Spain participated in the conference dedicated to basic areas of contemporary fundamental and applied science. Conference reports were presented in 32 sections.

Two research works out of 20 submitted by KFU undergraduate and postgraduate students were highly estimated by judging panel represented by professors from Moscow State University.  Work of 3-year student of the Institute of Chemistry, Bulat Akhmadeev, was granted the 2nd place in Physical Chemistry subsection, meanwhile, report of 5-year student Artashes Khachatryan was recognized to the best one among 300 reports presented in the Chemistry section.
