Colin Johnson – Surprised by Literacy and Commitment of KFU Students

American post-graduate student Colin Johnson delivered a lecture on the political system and modern political processes in USA to future political experts in Naberezhnye Chelny Branch on March, 28. The guest came from Brown University, Rhode-Island which is ranked 47th among the best universities in the world.

C. Johnson was invited by Associate Professor Vasil Sakaev. At first C. Johnson held a trivia game on USA geography. Then he presented Brown University, one of the most attractive private US universities in Providence, Rhode Island. Brown is the seventh oldest institution of higher education in the United States and one of 9 colonial colleges.

The lecture traversed issues of American modern policy, reasons of B. Obama’s popularity, racism, average income and expenditure.

After the lecture C. Johnson said that he was surprised by literacy and commitment of KFU students who asked relevant questions and had their own opinions. He hopes to come to KFU again.
