During his 4-day journey, the President will also be accompanied by Marat Safiullin, Vice Rector for Strategic Development of KFU.

This is the first trip of Tatarstan President to Japan and North Korea.

The delegation includes Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Director General of Innopolis Igor Nosov and others.

The main purpose of the visit is to participate in the 4th Russian-Japanese Investment Forum with the main focus on new spheres of investment cooperation between Russia and Japan. 

Marat Safiullin remarked on several ongoing projects between KFU and Korean universities in Medicine and Bioengineering. It is expected to establish tentative agreements fostering collaboration between North Korean universities and KFU.
