KFU continues to promote its educational and research opportunities in South Eastern Asia in the framework of the Program for Competitive Growth. Representatives of our University have participated in education fairs in Indonesia, Malaysia, China; last week our University was introduced in Vietnam.

World Study Fair in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City exhibited KFU along with universities of the UK, USA, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines. Senior specialist of the Department of External Relations, Chulpan Gazieva, and Junior Researcher from Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, Arthur Fattakhov, presented information to potential applicants and their parents on educational and scientific assets of KFU with lovely residential conditions for international students in the Universiade Village, accessible sports and cultural facilities. Kazan has developed urban infrastructure and managed to preserve the history and culture of the city.

Vietnamese students find technical and economic majors the most attractive at Kazan Federal University. This can be explained by the priority areas of economic development of Vietnam and also by the tendencies of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation. In particular, the visitors appeared interested in banking and financial management, as well as in automotive and energy fields due to the implementation of major joint infrastructure projects between the two countries.
