On March, 7 was held an awarding ceremony carried out within British Petroleum (BP) scholarship program. In its framework winners received diplomas and research groups - certificates on grant award.
For information: Objective of the BP scholarship program is to encourage talented and promising KFU undergraduate and postgraduate students who specialize in one or several branch of science, technics and economics. BP scholarship is assigned for one year and is paid every month, provided, that the student maintains high academic performance.
15 undergraduate and postgraduate students from KFU as well as 5 KFU research groups – winners in the Research projects program - were granted scholarships. KFU Rector Ilshat Gafurov and BP Director for relations with state agencies Marat Murtazin awarded winners the diplomas. Marat Murtazin underlined the high level of submitted works.
This is the second year of these programs implementation in our University. During the last year our students were also receiving scholarships, and research groups were conducting their projects with the support of BP. Due to their support our University is regularly visited by leading foreign scholars who come to deliver here public lectures.
