Sitting of the Directorate of KFU Program for Competitive Growth

Today, on the 1st of February, 2014, a sitting of the Directorate of KFU Program for Competitive Growth was held in Kazan Federal University.

Problems of clusterization and project financing according to KFU Road Map were discussed by the example of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of KFU. The Director of the Institute, Mr. Andrey Kiyasov, the head of Genetics Department, Mr. Albert Rizvanov, and the Director of Neurobiology laboratory, Mr. Rustem Khazipov spoke at the sitting. The decision taken was to update the financing project taking into consideration proposals put forth by the members of the Directorate of the Program for Competitive Growth.

Vice-Rector of KFU for Economic and Strategic Development, Mr. Marat Safiullin, also spoke at the siting. He submitted an offer to distribute plan values of KFU Road Map performance targets by priority areas. The Vice-Rector presented data on commitments relating to volume of incomes from scientific research work and R&D and quantity of articles in Web of Science and Scopus, made for the period from 2010 to 2013. He also presented performance target calculation technique for top-priority interdisciplinary scientific fields of development.
