Strengthening of Scientific Connections with Vyatka State University of Humanities

On January, 31 for further development of research and educational relations between Vyatka State University of Humanities and Kazan Federal University was signed the cooperation agreement.

While signing the agreement, Rector of Vyatka State University of Humanities noticed a symbolic coincidence: one of the originators of his University was the graduate of Kazan Imperial University – Alexander von Wilken - who was the first Director of Vyatka Teacher`s Institute. In this respect KFU official representative – Deputy Director of KFU Institute of History for Research, Professor Valeriy Letyaev focused on constant research and educational relations between our Universities: Professor Wilken was always highly praised in Kazan University and his contribution to education development was esteemed in both regions.

The signed agreement supposes academic exchange for research work, training practice, delivering of special lectures and courses, participating in scientific conferences, organizing joint scientific and educational activities and projects.
