The republican stage of the All-Russian Informatics Contest for Schoolchildren was launched on Saturday, February 01, 2014.

The Adviser to the Rector, Director of the Department of Pre-University, General and Pedagogical Education of Kazan Federal University, Ms. Lyudmila Nugumanova, and the President of the jury, Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling of N. I. Lobachevskiy Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of KFU, Mr. Mikhail Kinder, gave a welcoming address to contest participants.

Schoolchildren from all over Tatarstan are struggling for the titles of contest winners. Altogether 91 schoolchildren, including 7 students of IT-lyceum and 15 students of N. I. Lobachevskiy Lyceum of KFU, are taking part in the contest. Victories in school and municipal stages of the contest are behind them already.

9 winners and prize-winners of the republican stage of the informatics contest of the academic year 2012-2013 are among the participants.

The contest includes two stages: the first stage was held on the 1st of February, the second one – on the 3rd of February. Winners and prize-winners will be determined according to their results. A team of the Republic of Tatarstan will be formed from among the aforesaid winners and prize-winners to participate in the final stage of the All-Russian Informatics Contest for Schoolchildren.
