By the Order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan the Rector of Kazan Federal University, Mr. Ilshat Gafurov, was included in the Presidium of the Academy of Science of the RT.

According to the Document, there are 15 members in Presidium. The following officials are among them: the Minister of Education and Science of the RT, Mr. Engel Fattakhov, the head of the Committee for Culture, Science and National Affairs of the RT Council of State, Mr. Ramzil Valeev, the head of Kazan Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Science, Mr. Oleg Sinyashin, the Rector of Kazan National Technical University, Mr. Albert Gilmutdinov, and the Rector of Kazan National Technological University, Mr. German Diyakonov. Vice-Rector of KFU for Economic and Strategic Development, Mr. Marat Safiullin, was also included in the Presidium.

The Order took effect on February 01, 2014.
