The First-Year Student of KFU Will Compete for the Title 'Miss Russia – 2014'

On the 19th of January Alisa Manyonok, the student of the Institute of Mass Communications and Social Sciences, the winner of the title “Miss Primorye 2013”, will set off for Moscow to participate in a casting of the national beauty contest “Miss Russia 2014”.

She came to Kazan from the Far East to study in Kazan University. She dances break. Moreover, she did swimming for 11 year and volleyball for 6 years. During the last four years she studied at a boarding school for talented children at Sport Department, because she was a member of Primorye volleyball club (now called Primorochka). Today she is training in the women’s volleyball team of Kazan Federal University.

Since the age of 14 she has been living alone out of her native city: in the 8th form she moved from Nakhodka to Vladivostok together with her team. Her relatives are professional sportsmen, as well: her mother studied at the Faculty of Law of KGU and was a member of the University basketball team, her father was two-times European champion in swimming and a member of the USSR national junior team. She enjoys hiking alone and likes Kazan very much. Her field of specialisation is Advertising and Public Relations. She thinks that beauty of the woman is her charm, which makes any woman really beautiful.
