Russian Government approved the conception of mathematical education according to which all academic programs on all educational levels will be essentially upgraded. The corresponding document was posted on official web-site of legal information on Friday.

The concept goal is to bring the Russian mathematical education to leading positions. Among the tasks are academic programs upgrade, increase of teachers` qualification and their work quality, closing gaps in pupils` knowledge, mainstreamification of Mathematics.

Russian President Vladimir Putin asked to develop the concept of mathematical education in May 2012 to December 2013.
