International Scientific School 'Pressing Problems of Magnetic Resonance and Its Applications' Started Working in KFU

Today, on the 22nd of October, KFU was greeting young physicists and mathematicians from many countries of the world. Within the walls of the University students, postgraduates, Master’s Degree students from Russia and foreign countries discussed pressing problems of magnetic resonance and its applications. It is the sixteenth year that the International scientific school is organised in KFU. According to the organisers, the number of participants is constantly growing. Today the section of coherent optics and nanophotonics started working for the first time. It was organised in collaboration with the International youth scientific school “Coherent Optics and Optical Spectroscopy”.

This event is a part of Kazan Federal University Development Program, held with the support of the Russian Academy of Science (RAS), Tatarstan Academy of Science, Russian Fund for Fundamental Studies, Kazan Institute of Physics and Technique n. a. E. K. Zavoyskiy of KNC RAN (Kazan Research Centre of the RAS), Bruker analytical equipment firm (Moscow), nonprofit programs fund Dynasty.

According to the procedure, lectors must defend their scientific researches in English. Summarizing the results of all sessions jurors will select the best works, which will be published in international scientific editions “Magnetic Resonance in Solid” and “Journal of Physics: CS”.

The program also includes lectures of famous Russian and foreign scientists, master classes with work demonstration on state-of-the-art spectrometers of electron paramagnetic resonance and nuclear magnetic resonance.

The scientific school will work till the 25th of October.
