Through October 07 – 12, 2013 the Scientific Council for Geomagnetism is holding a traditional International seminar on rock geomagnetism, paleomagnetism and magnetism: theory, practice, experiment.

The seminar is financially supported by the Russian Fundamental Research Fund (RFFI), Kazan Federal University (KFU), Presidium of the Russian Academy of Science and Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in the Sphere of Education (SIU).

The seminar program includes oral reports by leading Russian and foreign participants on pressing topics, round tables devoted to topics discussed by task groups, as well as poster sessions. Furthermore, special lectures on the topic “Coercitive Spectrometry”, involving participation of Russian and foreign scientists, are scheduled for delivery.
