Two KFU ecological projects “Rehabilitation of Middle Kaban Lake” and “Concept of Universiade Park on the Kazanka Left Shore” have attracted much expert attention. Kazan University was presented by the Departments of Microbiology and Genetics. Also, Prof.Mingazova’s presentation “Concept of Kaban Lakes rehabilitation depending on their ecological condition” spurred vibrant discussions as a key issue of being a natural Universiade venue in need of remediation. Much interest was voiced by regional MPs and business.
