New Chairman of Kazan Association of International Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students for 2013 – 2015 became the Student of KFU Faculty of Law, Daniyar Imanaliev (Kirgizstan).
As Deputy Chairmen of the Association were elected students from Kazan National Research Technical University Ntsumu Ryut Shelton and from KFU Albina Yuskaeva, Yi Peng and Parviz Khodzhiev.
Chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, Sergey Mironov reminded that more 5 000 international students from 78 countries had been studying in Kazan Universities. He also noted that students played a great role in life of the city, especially at the time when Kazan hosted grand events in sport, cultural and scientific sphere.
Chairman of Kazan Association of International Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students, Adeniyi Adebayo, delivered a final report for 2011-2013. He underlined that priority objectives were adaptation, cultural life and social security of international citizens, moreover, he told about successful projects of the association. Among them he mentioned meetings of international students with Kazan pupils “Friendship classes”, organization of school contests on Russian Language among international students and international students beauty contest “Pearl of World” as well as various events devoted to world cuisines.
Adeniyi Adebayo told that in 2012 the Association became a partner of Executive Directorate “Kazan - 2013”. In the framework of cooperation international students worked as interviewers and tutors in implementation of educational project “English 4U”, they also became attaché for participating countries and actively worked in international camp of the Universiade.
Sergey Mironov awarded Adeniyi Adebayo with the Letter of Gratitude from Kazan Mayor and special prize from Committee for Children and Youth Affairs for substantial contribution to the development of international relations in 2011-2013. Honored Certificates were also given to the members of the Association - Elvira Umasheva, Rustam Musin and Gaukhar Dzhumabaev.
