On the initiative of Tatarstan President among the representatives of Tatarstan youth was 5-year student from KFU, member of Kazan Global Shapers Community, Timur Kurmaev. Business visit of the Tatarstan delegation headed by President was on September 15-17.

The delegation visited IPG Photonics, got acquainted with Massachusetts Institute of Technology and looked over Harvard Quantum Optics Center. On September, 17 our delegation participated in “Russian Innovation Week”.

This event was held for the second year, its main goal is to demonstrate potential of Russian innovation industry and help our investors and venture foundations in arranging connections with American partners. For Russian technological companies this serves as an access to capital source.  

Representatives of the Russian and American state power, administration of business corporations, venture investors and entrepreneurs in technologies participated in panel discussions.  This event was organized by Russian Venture Company, Rosnano and Skolkovo Foundation.
