Attracting funding from business in Russia

Compiled by Times Higher Education, the rankings show that Russia is in the 11th place according to the level of investment in universities from private companies.  This appears surprising since Russian universities do not even enter the top 200 universities judged by their academic performance.

The selection method is calculated as following: the investment in a particular university is converted into dollars by PPP exchange rate and is later divided by the number of scholars at a university.

The following list gives the top 30 countries of the ranking:
