“It is the 7th year that the campaign “Help to get prepared for school! is being held in our Republic. Within this period of time thousands of boys and girls were presented schoolbags. I am glad that not only government officials, but also common citizens annually join this campaign. All the aforesaid is done to avoid darkening of the most important day of future schoolchildren’s lives with social difficulties,” noted the Minister of Education and Science of the RT, Mr. Engel Fattakhov.

“Children are our future! A spirit with which they will go to school and marks they will be getting within the next 11 years, as well as their interests during this period depend on us to a considerable degree. I think that these gifts will be to our first-formers’ liking, especially as all this-year kindergarten leavers without exception will get school kits in KFU Branch in Elabuga,” said the Rector of KFU, Mr. Ilshat Gafurov.

Heroes of the day made a speech of response, as well. Varvara Badikova, a future first-former, said as follows: “On the 1st of September we shall go to school for the first time. We can read, write and count already. Moreover, we know what the difference between the human and cyborg is, what a construction the language has, what nursery rhymes and catchphrases are, how the New Year is celebrated in different countries of the world. We were told about all these and many other facts in the “Children’s University”. Furthermore, we created animated cartoons, ran experiments and learned how to control robots ourselves there. And our summer was as interesting: in “InteLLeto” camp we were offered entertaining lessons of English. Mathematics, Informatics, Russian, Biology, Economics and even chess. Thus we’ve already got prepared for school and promise to get only “excellent” and sometimes “good” marks, and then enter this institute, where our mothers and fathers work”.

Furthermore, the children presented the honoured guests with small souvenirs made with their own hands.
