Workshop Achievements and prospects of econometric studies in Russia was held in KFU

On July, 23 Kazan Federal University hosted international scientific workshop Achievements and prospects of econometric studies in Russia.

KFU Institute of Economics and Finance organized this event. Director of the Institute noted that they pay great attention to Econometrics. Several years ago there was established Department of Statistics, Econometrics and Natural Science.

Professor from the Russian School of Economics (Moscow), Stanislav Anatoliev delivered report devoted to Nonconventional asymptotic methods on the plenary session. Deputy Head of the Territorial Body of the Federal Service of State Statistics in the Republic of Tatarstan, Olga Krasnova, represented report dedicated to Application of economic and mathematical methods in statistics. Professor from the Business School of the Imperial College London, Rustam Ibragimov, told about modern approaches to crisis modeling in economic and financial markets and new methods of sustainable econometric analysis.

Experts from Zurich (Switzerland), Nizhniy Novgorod, Moscow, Izhevsk, etc. participated in sectional sessions.
