On Saturday, July 13, 2013, diplomas were awarded to the tenth year graduates completing “Master of Business Administration” program in Kazan Federal University.

The ceremony was held in the historical Assembly hall of the University. Besides the 38 graduates their relatives, friends, business colleagues, teachers, Certification commission members and the program trustees gathered for the ceremony.

The Rector of KFU, Doctor of Economics, Professor Ilshat Gafurov gave an opening address. He thanked graduates for choosing MBA program of KFU. The Rector wished them good luck, success and self-actualization in the selected field.

Then the graduates were awarded the diplomas. The awarding ceremony was conducted by the Rector of KFU, Prof. Ilshat Gafurov, and the Director of the Higher International Commercial School ESIDEC, which is a partner of МВА program in KFU, the head of the Education Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moselle (Metz, France), Prof. Jean-Pier Mureau. At the end of this procedure Mr. Mureau addressed himself to the participants with a heartfelt speech. The speaker said that the mission of the program organisers, methodologists and teachers was to train students so as to make them get ready to meet everything new that didn’t exist at that moment, but would appear in 10-20 years in the spheres of technologies, law, consumer behaviour models.

The Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Certification commission of the MBA program in KFU, Mr. Shamil Ageev, the head of the Commission for Economics, Investments and Entrepreneurship of the Council of State of the RT, Mr. Marat Galeev, the Director General of “Setevaya Companiya”, JSC, Mr. Ilshat Fardiev, and the President of Danaflex, JSC, graduate of MBA program-2003, Mr. Ayrat Bashirov, also made welcoming speeches. The official ceremony was closed with a speech of the Director of МВА program in KFU, Doctor of Economics, Alsu Akhmetshina.

Reference information: within the period from 2000 to 2013 542 people successfully completed studies according to the program and got MBA diplomas.

There was a graduates association organized in 2012; it is a permanent independent association of managers having МВА degree. Each two years the association holds a forum of MBA graduates with a view to demonstrate innovative knowledge, skills and methods, successfully implemented by МВА program graduates in order to increase efficiency and competitiveness of the respective organisation, as well as to establish business and friendly contacts between people with the common world outlook.
