Just a few days left before the Universiade, sports fans anticipate colorful spectacle. It will be shown not only at venues but on the television as well. TV viewers will be able to watch competitions in 17 sports in HD.

July 6-17 Universiade host broadcaster will stream international HD signal of the Games. Russian federal channels will show the Games, and russiasport.ru except for live broadcasts will offer more than thousand additional videos: the best moments, games coverage, interviews, etc.

A lot of super modern broadcasting cars arrived in Kazan; they were allocated among 12 venues. Media office system allows recording and processing up to 64 signals from various sources and making immediate selection of necessary materials from video content of more than 900 hours for streaming. 

More than 290 television cameras will operate during the Games. Complexes of virtual graphics will be used in live streaming.

More than 850 television specialists participated in fierce competitions and successfully finished training that lasted 24 months.    

Universiade coverage will be unprecedented. Various television companies will stream live competitions. Moreover, all materials will be available on russiasport.ru.

Establishment of the Universiade channel appears to be a dress rehearsal of the Olympic Games coverage.
