Dina Garipova got 'five' for her singing

Today the International Song Contest Eurovision-2013 came to an end in the Swedish town of Malmö. Dina Garipova, a student of KFU, was the singer representing Russia; she ranked fifth in the final. Emmelie de Forest from Denmark won the Contest.

Dina Garipova was number 10 at the contest. The Honoured Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan sang the song «What If» in English.

“I am absolutely satisfied with the result. I have been saying from the first day that to win is not the most important for me. And here we were among the best five singers, and I think it’s very good. I am greatly thankful to those who voted for us. I am in wonderful, marvelous spirits. It’s because life goes on. And that was such a remarkable adventure in my life, which I was dreaming of in my childhood. I wanted to take part in such a contest, saying nothing about Eurovision – my God! Take just this word alone! And I am happy to be here, to be a part of this event. And I hope to have many other splendid feasts of that kind in our life”, – Dina shared her impressions, as reported by ria.ru.

Our best congratulations!
