April 22-24 Kazan Federal University delegation visited Turin. Delegation consisted of KFU Rector, Mr. Ilshat Gafurov, Director of branch in Naberezhnye Chelny, Mr. Makhmut Ganiev, and Deputy Director of the Institute of Physics, Mr. Dmitriy Tayurskiy.
Kazan Federal University representatives attended the 6th European Conference “Altair -2013”.
KFU delegation was mostly interested in seminars dedicated to materials simulation, designing of high speed vehicles and cars, development of virtual transport and other issues connected with automobile industry.
Moreover, the delegation visited Politecnico di Torino which is a world famous centre for training specialists in the field of automobile production. Currently this university is a bright example of integration of education and industry.
