Russia`s young talents gathered at the Institute of Philology and Arts, KFU

On March, 15 intramural round of the Second Russian competition of students` research works in the field of art education was held at the Division of Arts of the Institute of Philology and Arts, KFU. About 100 participants took part in this competition. They represented the most respectable Universities of Russia in the field of art education – Iliya Glazunov Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (Moscow), Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (Moscow), Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (St. Petersburg) and others.

The competition was opened by the solemn prolog performed by laureate of Russian contests and award winner of international contests the choir “Sozvuchie” of the Institute of Philology and Arts (art director E. Dyganova, accompanier S. Karkina), they played “Gloria” by Vivaldi. In comparison with the first competition, which was held two years ago, geography of Universities expanded and number of participants increased.

Despite the intense work schedule of the contest, the jury fairly and  with interest treated each of the participants. The jury assessed research, creative, educational and types of projects. The participants had the opportunity to join the different schools of art education, enrich their professional experience, broadened horizons. In non-official conversation many of them expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the competition for a unique experience allowing to achieve new success in scientific and creative activities.

The spectacularity was granted by the mastery of musicians and choreographers, and a multimedia presentation of projects in the field of fine art and design.

The culmination of the competition – the awarding ceremony  - took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere. Head of the Department of Art, Ziliya Yavgildina, congratulated the laureates and winners of the competition and as a memory of Kazan Federal University and our republic she gifted art books on contemporary art of Tatarstan. Letters of thanks were given to the supervisors.

 Kazan is a real treasure trove of architecture, fine arts, music and for most contestants remained an "unread book". The organizers of the competition designed cultural tour program.
