Lesson of the Euro Crisis from Japan's Point of View

March 6 – Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations together with Center ES VOICES (Institute of Comparative Studies of Society Modernization, KFU) organized an economic lecture by Japanese lecturer, Dr. Hideki Hayashi.

During the lecture, KFU students asked the Japanese economist about the estimation of European crisis for Japanese and Asian economies on the whole. Students were given detailed answers on what short-and long-term measures should be taken to overcome the crisis, especially in the financial sector, and what other measures are essential for Europe from the Japanese perspective.

Dr. Hayashi shared his observations on the Russian economic situation and answered questions about the processes of economic integration in South Eastern Asia.
