Students of KFU have Become Winners of the Scholarship Program 'Lift to the Future'

The program “Lift to the Future” has announced winners of the successive stage of the scholarship program. There are six students from Tatarstan among them. Three of these six are students of KFU.

According to the results of the competitive selection, the best 100 students from 31 regions of Russia will get a personal scholarship “Lift to the Future” in the current semester. The scholarship amount is — 5000 roubles per months.

There are three students of Kazan Federal University among the scholarship holders:

- Dzamukova Mariya Rodionovna — the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology, the 3rd year;

- Kogogin Denis Alexandrovich — the Institute of Physics, the 2nd year of the Master’s Studies;

- Shadiyev Ildar Nailevich — the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, the 1st year.

All the presented works have passed a strict selection: firstly they were tested for content originality with the help of “Antiplagiat” system. After that a council of experts, including famous experts, entrepreneurs, representatives of R&D-subdivisions of AFK “Systema”, analyzed their topics for novelty and scientific value. More than a half of the scholarship holders have presented not simply annual papers or essays, but full-fledged scientific articles published or accepted for publication in magazines.

Scholarship holders were selected in 8 categories: Earth science; chemistry and materials sciences; ecology and rational nature management; biology, agricultural sciences and living system technologies; social sciences and pedagogy; physics and astronomy; medicine; technical sciences. At the current stage of the scholarship program candidates’ quantity was 7 volunteers per one scholarship. Only students meeting the following criteria were permitted to take part in the contest: no C (3, fair) marks in their Records of Credit; full-fledged scientific articles already written by the student; students were to be winners of school contests in some subjects in their past.

On “Lift to the Future” program: “Lift to the Future” program offered by AFK “Systema”, OJSC has been implemented since the end of 2011. Its main purpose is a consecutive support and development of talented schoolchildren and students, offering them help in conscious profession selection and career promotion through a broad network of social partnership, providing for participation of representatives of business, science, education, authorities and society as a whole.
