Proficiency in Eastern martial arts has traditionally been an integral part of Oriental Studies. Student of the Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations Anna Osipova took two gold medals (category of females up to 61 kg) in the Volga Region Karate Championship which took place on January 25-27 in the city of Togliatti in the sports complex "Olympus".
