The best young scientists of 2012 work in Kazan University

On February, 8 - in the Day of Science – there was an awarding ceremony of the contest winners “The Best Young Scientists of the Republic of Tatarstan – 2012 ”.

Best of the best were chosen from 208 scientists from leading universities and research centers of the five cities of the Republic (including seven Doctors of Sciences and 86 Candidates of Sciences). From the list of 40 finalists there were chosen the winners in three categories: "The Best young scientist in social and humanitarian sciences", "The Best young scientist in engineering sciences", "The best young scientist in natural sciences."

For information: This contest is conducted by the Regional Youth Social Organization of young scientists and specialists of the Republic of Tatarstan within the Republican contest of socially valuable projects and programs of establishments for youth policy, children and youth associations of Tatarstan, organized by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan. The goal of the contest is to encourage the most talented young scientists, attract the attention of public, government authorities, investors to youth scientific elite of our country.

As admit the organizers and honored guests of the contests the search for new talented young scientists is an important step in the advancement of science. Young scientists were greeted  by representatives of Ministries,  Departments and the university Rectors.

Alsou Zamaleeva, Candidate of Sciences in Biology, researcher of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology at the Kazan Federal University was awarded with the first degree Certificate "the Best Young Scientist of the Republic of Tatarstan in natural sciences". At the moment she is on internship in Paris (France), and the congratulations received her sister Dilbar Zamaleeva. (By the way, the last year this prize was given to Ravil Fahrullin, a researcher from KFU).

Guzel Ziyatdinova, Candidate of Sciences in Chemistry, senior lecturer of the Alexander Butlerov Institute of Chemistry, was awarded with the third degree Certificate in this nomination.

The following young scientists were awarded with Certificate:

Timur Gumerov and Anna Goshunova (the first stage of the contest), Ruslan Garipov, Polina Ermolaeva (the second stage) in the nomination " the Best young scientist in social and humanitarian sciences”;

Eduard Baibekov, Anatoliy Mokshin, Airat Ziganshin (the second stage of the contest) in the nomination "the Best young scientist in natural sciences"

Moreover, Certificates of Honour of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan were given to Deputy Chairman of the Exe­cutive Committee of the Regional youth social organization of young scientists and specialists of Tatarstan Nail Abubakirov, Marat Mukhamedyarov, Sergei Nikitin. With Letters of Gratitude were awarded young scientists Daria Gordeeva, Anna Zaripova and Svetlana Smirnova.
