For reference. Gestalt therapy is an existential and phenomenological approach based on the principles of focusing on the actual reality and direct experience. An individual in the course of therapy is encouraged to the greatest possible awareness of current thoughts, feelings, sensations in order to find his own contribution to the blocking of the flow of consciousness and vitality. Taking on more responsibility for the content of the subjective experience, he/she learns to rely on their capabilities and becomes less dependent and less susceptible to manipulation.

Jean-Marie Robine is the author of a series of books and articles published in France, England, USA, Canada, Australia, Poland, Russia, Germany, Holland, Italy, Mexico. He came to Kazan due to the invitation of Kazan Gestalt community.
