Kazan University Is Now a Four-Star Institution According to QS

Quacquarelli Symonds held its audit of research and education at KFU for the second time.

KFU has risen from 3 points to 4 points and is now one of 23 4-star holders in the world. Among its peers are University of Huddersfield and University of South Florida, in Russia – Plekhanov University, RUDN University, and Siberian Federal University.

There are 52 indicators in 8 categories in this audit. 550+ points must be scored in order to be rated 4 stars. KFU managed to amass 574 points (compared to 482 in the previous audit). Four categories -  infrastructure, innovation, alumni employment, and education - received five stars.

There are 17 universities in the highest ranking group – «five-plus». Among them are MIT, Nanyang, and Seoul National University.

Vice-Rector Marat Safiullin noted that KFU may aspire to receive the highest possible marks if it maintains its current momentum.
