The rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov acquainted the President Rustam Minnikhanov with material equipment of the institute during his working visit to Yelabuga

Today during the working bypass of the historic center of Yelabuga the Prezident of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited the Yelabuga institute of KFU.

The main objective of the taken place President's visit - to estimate the condition of objects of cultural heritage of Yelabuga. Buildings, the constructions of the middle and the end of the 19th century located on several streets of a historical part of the city were provided to him: on Naberezhnaya, Bolshaya Pokrovskaya, Gassara, and Kazanskaya streets, etc.

At the building on Kazanskaya St., 23, constructed by the merchant Kapiton Ushkov in 1860 in which educational audiences of the faculty of psychology and pedagogics of the Yelabuga institute of KFU are located now, the President was met by representatives of administration of higher education institution headed by the rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov.

In this building from the middle of the 19th century the district school and the first female gymnasium were placed. G-shaped construction with large apertures on the second floor and house Nativity Church represents a monument of civil architecture in style of eclecticism.

Now here educational audiences and laboratories of the faculty of psychology and pedagogics of the Yelabuga institute are located.

The route of the President included also the main building of institute which is considered as one of the main sights of the town.

During the excursion Rustam Nurgaliyevich got acquainted with material equipment of higher education institution, visited a language laboratory of the institute where he was shown the possibilities of the modern equipment for learning of foreign languages and interactive lecture offices.

Paying attention of the President to the ultramodern equipment of lecture offices including the computer of management of a multimedia lecture complex, the projection screen, multimedia projectors, the speaker system, Ilshat Gafurov noted several unconditional benefits influencing efficiency of educational process: during the lectures there can be used as well as electronic textbooks and digital educational resources, and the author's lessons prepared by the teacher here.

All author's lessons register and can be used further for independent training of students, experience exchange and general preparation of a training material by teachers. Today the lecture is not any more reading and retelling of a training material, but an original research which becomes a form of joint operation of the teacher and students.

To the attention of Rustam Minnikhanov were presented several laboratories of physical and mathematical faculty: laboratory of mechanical and molecular physics, laboratory of automation, power systems, theories and techniques of training in fundamentals of power. On the base of the laboratory of electricity and power are taught not only students of physical and mathematical faculty , but also engineering and technological faculty students. The equipment of this laboratory allows to carry out classical fundamental experiments on electricity and magnetism. This laboratory is equipped with the equipment for training of masters of energy production. Each stand presented in the laboratory allows to study Basic Elements of inclusion and operation of separate types and systems of energy consumption.

The teachers of physical and mathematical faculty told Rustam Nurgaliyevich about work on development of the Robotekhnika direction in educational process which is conducted in higher education institution. The use of such rather new direction is urgent for KFU within the project SAE "Teacher of the 21st Century" and has the serious future within the changing country education system. Teachers of department of informatics and discrete mathematics of the Yelabuga institute of KFU together with representatives of NPO "Android Technics" (Magnitogorsk) work on creation of an educational and methodical complex for the school subject "Fundamentals of Robotics".

Lessons with pupils of high comprehensive schools and students take place based on the "Center of the educational roboequipment" which opened in 2015 at the Yelabuga institute where there are all specifications for training of Lego designing. Students of the Yelabuga institute Islam Hamitov and Vladislav Starostin, prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympic Games on robotics, showed to the President their inventions. They should compete with advanced models in November 2016 at the World Olympic Games on robotics in India.

Rustam Nurgaliyevich wished the students success at the forthcoming competitions, and they, in turn, asked to take a memorable selfie with the President.
