She arrived to participate in the IOI 2016 closing ceremony on August 18th.

The Deputy Minister is in charge of university media in the country, and Kazan University Media Center also falls under her supervision. Therefore she visited the building on 1 Professor Nuzhin Street where the Center is situated, including the Department of Marketing, PR managers, Universmotri student TV channel, website maintenance, and the University’s press service itself.

The building is currently being renovated before the upcoming academic year. Ms. Tolstikova expressed her appreciation of the idea of all the media and PR people concentrating under one roof for convenience.

She also familiarized herself with the new system of journalistic education. Basically, the University establishes a student information agency where future professionals can learn by not only observing but also participating in everyday work.

Tomorrow the guest from Moscow plans to go to Laishevo District to make an appearance at the traditional annual Teacher Convention of Tatarstan.
