University Clinic to Become Friendlier Thanks to New Project

“Friendly Clinic” is a new initiative to make appointments and interaction with patients less burdensome for everyone.

After the ongoing renovation 40 thousand Kazanites from surrounding neighborhoods will be able to receive help in a significantly more comfortable environment. The primary objective is to reduce live queues. This will help attract the working public that sometimes prefers non-governmental institutions due to time constraints. Internet and phone bookings will be available, and general practitioners will cease to make in-house visits so as to spend all the time at the clinic. In-house and emergency visits will be assigned to separate specialists. Sick leave certificates and hospitalization referrals will be issued at a separate room.

A new ward will also be opened for one-day procedures, such as endoscopy. Finally, a new X-ray diagnostics center will be established. Patients will now receive all types of screenings at one place, such as chest X-ray, mammograms, densitometry, and immediately consult a doctor.
