The VII international Festival of school teachers will be held in Elabuga Institute of Kazan Federal University

Elabuga Institute of Kazan Federal University is prepared to accept the moderators and the participants of VII International Festival of school teachers.

A long-awaited vacation time began for most teachers. But the organizers of the VII International Festival of school teachers are preparing to receive the moderators and participants. The work of status teaching forum will begin on August 8.

This forum has gained recognition and credibility in the domestic and foreign pedagogical community. It has established itself as an attractive platform to exchange experience of innovative educational activity for members of the teaching community and to conference concerning the development of teacher education and educational researches. The festival units a huge number of interested people to cooperate and it is not limited only to a part of the festival. Elabuga Institute supports partnerships with many participants; many of them become the participants of various research and educational projects. Of course, any project can survive for long only if it is constantly renovated. And if we talk about the upcoming festival in 2016, the carrying out of several important researches with schools and with partners’ Elabuga Institute is planned in the framework of this project. It is necessary to identify the most important competences of modern teachers and the activity of Institute should be directed at the formation of these competences.

More than 30 leading experts in the field of education will arrive for participation in master classes as moderators. They are from Germany (Julia Koynova-Zellner, Dr. phil., researcher of the Chair of General Didactics and Empirical Study of the Lesson, the Pedagogy Faculty at the Technical University, Dresden), USA (Murat Koshanov, the University of Texas Professor, El Paso), Latvia (Ekaterina Vikulina, PhD, associate Professor of history and theory of culture, "Centre for scientific and cultural communication", Riga), Estonia (Svetlana Shershun, the Head of the International center for professional development, Board member of the International methodological Council of Estonia), Kazakhstan (Fyodor Wasserman, PhD, full professor, scientific adviser of the Fund of education of Nursultan Nazarbayev), Belarus (Lydia Kazinets, PhD, head of the branch of the Chair of Pedagogy, Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank) and others.

Domestic scientific-methodological schools from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Kirov, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Elabuga are widely represented.

Traditionally, the Festival will include public lectures, round tables, business games, master classes, workshops, presentations of best teaching practices, exhibitions, cultural and wellness programs, creative and professional competitions.

The highlight of the VII Festival, as the organizers say, will be holding Summer pedagogical school, which will bring together around 50 undergraduate students from different Russian and foreign universities, receiving pedagogical education. The partners of the University from the leading educational centers will be welcomed for work in Summer pedagogical school. This project is of an academic nature, but the organizers will expect fresh, creative ideas from the participants.

The forum will last until August 10.
