The Ambassador visited KFU on June 28th.

Mr. Park met with South Korean students and toured the Medical Simulation Center. He was escorted by Vice-Rector for Foreign Relations Linar Latypov.

Over 10 South Korean universities have partnership agreements with Kazan University. KFU has its own Korean Studies Center sponsored by the Korea Foundation. In particular, the Center held Korean Culture Festival this past spring.

53 students from the East Asian country took semester courses at KFU in 2014 -2016.

Among industry partners one has to note Samsung Electronics – the relations started in 2012. KFU’s Samsung Android Lab works on Android apps. It successfully combines education with commercial activities.

After visiting the Medical Simulation Center Ambassador Park expressed hope that cooperation will soon expand to this field as well.
