Liliya Slavina and Evgeniya Maklakova familiarized the audience with cross-cultural education and a language policy.
The course brought up such topics as multiculturalism and education in multilanguage countries. The trainers introduced examples of tackling educational problems in the countries with a great number of the ethnic groups, for instance the USA, Canada, and France. Exploring their experience shows that immigrants are lured by countries with several official languages. The course was arranged as a dialogue with the audience: they were welcomed to ask questions, share their ideas, and discuss some points.
