Friendship of nations – the most precious value in the today"s world

The traditional Christmas event Friendship of nations was held by Humanities and Social Studies Division of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of KFU.

KFU has established the strong bonds with various countries and cultures of the globe. Our students have opportunity to travel around the world acquiring knowledge and gaining cross-cultural experience. Philological Department provides education for students representing the various cultures. Such events are arranged to strengthen the bonds and friendship, develop respect and tolerance.

Today’s tea party had a friendly atmosphere; the tables were loaded with national cuisines made by the students themselves. It was not only the tea party but the students made some performance presenting their culture. On the improvised stage they sang and recited in their national language and the traditional dances were captivating. Japan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Ukraine, Russia, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Germany,Roumania – these countries were introduced to the audience. They could enjoy both the national cuisine and the cultural diversity.

Philological Department is extremely grateful for support by arranging the event to Irina Nurgatina, deputy director for social and educational work, Aidar Kayumov, head of Humanities and Social Studies Division, Larisa Mazur, admission recruiter, and all the students and teaching staff.
