Personnel Management as a Key Component of Management Today

Integrated management of personnel (human resource management) is a relatively new challenge for Russia, and its value is not yet fully comprehended by most employers working at various management levels.

Doctor of Psychology, Paul Tolchinsky (UK) was invited by the initiative of the Institute of Continuing Education at KFU. Dr. Tolchinsky is a recognized business coach working with major companies and organizations.

Dr. Tolchinsky noted that in this changing world the highly competitive and constantly changing future belongs to those who can better manage in a changing environment and thus making company a place where employees do their work as if the company belongs to them.

Dr. Tolchinsky said that he often uses "the method of mixing" staff in his work, that is, when employees start to work in a different section for them. "The main idea – the coach admitted - is for  every employee to learn from everyone. There is a special formula, which describes the framework of this theory:  DxVxF> R, where D - is the cause, personal desire to be the best in the given situation, V - the vision, the direction, the future perspective, F - first steps to action. My research has showed that this formula is the true one. But I'm curious to try the technique here in Russia as well ", - concluded Paul Tolchinsky.

A detailed discussion of the problems is to be considered at the first International Scientific Workshop "Modern control techniques for rapidly changing individuals and companies" which opened on December 4 at KFU, as well as coaching tutorials.
