On December, 5 there was a meeting at the Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations with the professor from the Universität Innsbruck Pol Tolchinsky, who is an expert in the sphere of managing big groups.

Possible lines of cooperation within the signed agreement between Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and the Universität Innsbruck were discussed during the meeting with the Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations  L.N. Latypov. Professor Tolchinsky became interested in the research on the peculiarities of the eastern type of managing which is carried out by the First Deputy Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations N.M. Akhtyamova. The working experience gained in China, Japan, Singapore and other South-East Asian countries is very important for organizing joint seminars and summer schools on this topic.
