KFU celebrated Day of Chinese Culture

Over 100 guests could enjoy the experience of Chinese culture in the center of Kazan.

This year the event consisted of 4 master classes. The first master class was devoted to Chinese calligraphy, where everyone could learn how to spell hieroglyph “Fu” which means “happiness”. The second master class – Chinese gymnastics Taijiquan was introduced by master Edward Gaynullin who showed two types of movements to the audience.

Another master class gathered tea-lovers who learned about the philosophy and techniques of proper tea-making. Drinking tea is not a simple action for Chinese; it’s a procedure full of deep inner meaning. And, of course, the guests could try the famous Chinese teas at the end of the evening. The most popular master class was dedicated to Chinese cuisine where guest could take active part in the cooking process.
