The University sent its employees to the steel capital of Russia – Magnitogorsk.

The event was organized by Android Technics, a local R&D company, on January 14th-15th. KFU was represented by Rector Ilshat Gafurov, Vice-Rector for Engineering Nayil Kashapov, Director of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute Makhmut Ganiev, Director of Higher School of ITIS Ayrat Khasyanov, and others.

The forum was dedicated to uniting experts in military, special and dual purpose robot systems

Nail Kashapov shed some light on the circumstances, «Kazan University Android Technics and Robot Systems Lab cooperates with Android Technics. We held a roundtable here where projects for the Federal Target Program were selected».

Among the winners were: a rehabilitating machine for people with spinal injuries and strokes; an anthropomorphic robot-nurse for hospitals; a biomechanical servomotor for people with locomotory impairments, and others.
