Lectures by Distinguished Professor from Latvia

Despite his "young" by the standards of the scientific age, a 37-year-old Andris Ambainis majoring in Computer Science has already managed to receive the title of professor and has become the member of Latvian Academy of Sciences. The scientist has earned the wealth of international experience, since he was involved at the leading university research centers, such as Princeton and Berkeley (USA). In Kazan Prof. Ambainis will deliver a series of lectures related to quantum computing and quantum information theory.

"In my lectures, I describe the quantum method which is much faster than classical one. My goal is to give an idea of quantum methods and basic mathematical tools that are used to assess these methods"- explains Professor Andris Ambainis.

We can add that these classes will be interesting and useful not only for fans of complex mathematical calculations, but also for those who would like to practice their listening professional English skills.
