A delegation from Union Cuba-Petroleo visited KFU on September 25th.

The guests were Ariel Diaz Sanabria and Felix Echevarria Pestana. They toured the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, learned about offered curricula, visited the 3D GEO Center and the Center of Advanced Training, Quality Management, and Marketing of the Institute.

Mr. Sanabria said that he and his colleague were primarily interested in advanced training programs.

Deputy Director for Marketing of the Institute of GPT Ildus Chukmarov mentioned that a geological modelling training program by KFU is now in progress in Havana, Cuba.

He reminded that two advanced training programs will be hosted by KFU in 2015 – “Geophysical and Geodesic Methods of Seismic Survey” and “Metrological Support of Oil, Oil Derivatives, Associated Gas, and Natural Gas Measurements”.

Each program consists of three modules: studying at KFU, practice at a Russian engineering center, practice at an overseas engineering center.
