Experts Gather to Discuss Eurasian Economies

6th International Conference on Eurasian Economies is held at KFU on September 10th – 11th.

Over 150 participants from Russia, Turkey, Germany, USA, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan arrived to Kazan for the event. The conference is co-organised by Kazan University and Beykent University.

The experts tackle problems of Eurasian economies. The focus is on the problems of economic integration, regional cooperation, international trade, crisis management, central banks, sustainable resource use, and tourism.

The speakers have more than once mentioned that Kazan is now one of the cultural and economic centres of Eurasia. General Consul of Turkey in Kazan Turhan Dilmac said Kazan University makes a significant contribution to the development of Kazan as a dynamic Eurasian city by expanding ties with overseas scientists and educators.

Deputy Director of the Institute of Management, Economics, and Finance Lenar Safiullin noted the wide range of topics which are to be touched upon at the conference. The audience was also greeted by Rector of Beykent University Mehmet Emin Karahan.
