A delegation from iCarnegie, an IT branch of Carnegie-Mellon University and one of the world’s top ranked IT centers, visited KFU. The guests were received by the top KFU officials, including Vice-Rectors Nurgaliev and Latypov. According to iCarnegie CEO Gil Taran, the purpose of the visit is to get a first-hand experience and on-site observations of the state of IT developments at KFU. Therefore, visits were made to various university labs, as well as KFU affiliated IT-school and specialized high school.
