Meeting with the newly appointed Consul General of the Turkish Republic at the Institute of orientalistics and international relations

At the Institute of orientalistics and international relations of KFU take place the meeting with the newly appointed Consul General of the Turkish Republic in Kazan Mr. Sabri Tunҫ Angili.

During the meeting Vice-rector for international relations of KFU, Director of the Institute of orientalistics and international relations Linar Latypov briefly told about the history of orientalistics at our university, made acquainted with the structure of the Institute. They also discussed the problematics of creating at the Institute of the Center of Turkish studies in the framework of the formerly signed Agreement with the Institute named after Yunus Emre. Afterwards the Consul General has had an appointment with the lecturers of the Turkish philology chair. Mr. Sabri Tunҫ Angili assured that “traditions begun by the predecessors of the Turkish Republic Consulate General will be in future continued and strengthened”.
