It's to be recalled that in September, 2013, Jin Shuanggen, President of the International Association of Planetary Sciences, requested the administration of Kazan Federal University to hold the 2-nd IAPS Scientific Assembly within these walls. Such an honor was given to the University for its world-famous School of Astronomy.

The forum hosts more than 120 professionals from 9 countries, and among the key speakers there are scientists from Germany, Netherlands, France, Great Britain, USA, China, and Japan.

During the Conference (June 1-7th), they will discuss questions related to the study of planets and their satellites, robotic exploration of Moon and Mars. To be presented are the results of the research in space geodesy, dynamical astronomy, astrometry, planetary geophysics.
