KFU Officials took part in a business forum 'TRADE AND INDUSTRIAL DIALOGUE 'RUSSIA-EGYPT'

The Business mission was held on May 25-26, 2015 in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt.

KFU officials were led by Vice Rector for Innovations Andrey Artemyev. Rustam Minnikhanov, Interim President, was in charge of the entire Tatarstan mission within the delegation of Russia, headed by Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade.

The business program included participation of heads of ministries and departments, communication in the form of B2B by business representatives of the two countries, as well as a separate presentation area of Russian companies, such as Tatarstan's Kamaz, which plans to launch sales and service centers in Egypt. Kazan University was presented during the roundtable on cooperation development between Russia and Egypt in pharmaceutics and medical technology. Mr. Artemyev met the reps of Egyptian pharmaceutical companies, Cairo University and Alexandria Shipyard.

Those meetings identified priority areas of Russian-Egyptian relations and KFU will be involved in projects related to petroleum chemistry, ship construction, pharmaceutics and IT techs. Provision of finance will be done on the basis of to-be-established Russian-Arabic Investment Fund.
