The Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies expands cooperation with leading companies of Kazakhstan developing career broadening programs in oil and gas horizontal well drilling.

Currently, MH Industry (Kazakhstan) and AzTekDrilling (Aznakaevo) staff undergo training and the program is targeted at professionals and administration of these drilling companies. The program lectures, assisted by Schlumberger and Mirrico experts, are held at 3D Geo Center lab in networking cooperation with Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.

“We started supporting MH Industry 2 years ago. At the first stage we created a professional development program in drilling fluids and grout. Upon the completion of the training the company was satisfied with the quality of education and decided to further the cooperation with KFU in this direction” shares Ildus Chukmarov, Marketing Deputy Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing. Today more than 50 employees of MH industry have completed the program and they're looking forward to carry on.
